Royal South Yarra has a long and proud history which is significantly archived. The archives are held in the Club Library and are available to be perused by Members.
The material dates from the very early days of the Club in the 19th century, right up to the present time. They are fully indexed and consist of historical information, general articles and articles about many of our Members, both former and current. The collection includes photographs and events material.
The Archival Committee would welcome further material from Members, whether tennis related or not, as this will give our archives additional material to substantiate an overall impression of a particular time period or event.
The Archival Committee, comprising Messrs Richard Strangward and Bill Cameron, are always eager to discuss any aspect of the Club's archives.
