Competition and Social Play

The Club's Billiards Room, adjacent to the Courtyard Bistro, features two full-sized tables and is available during Club opening hours.

The Club enters teams in the Victorian Billiards and Snooker Association's City Circuit Competition, which runs from May to July enabling Royal South Yarra to compete against other top clubs including but not limited to the RACV Club, Athenaeum Club, Australian Club and Melbourne Club.

Throughout the year, the Club also conducts our annual Billiards and Snooker Club Championships. These Championships include a number of events such as the Snooker Club Championships, Billiards Handicap Event and Snooker Handicap Event.

Social play is also welcome in the Billiards Room. Members are reminded to wear smart casual dress (no tennis or general sporting attire) while playing. No food is to be consumed in the room and no one aged under 18 years is permitted to play unless accompanied by an adult.
